Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has a message to staff who don’t need to return to the workplace: “It’s not going to work out for you.” That’s in keeping with a report from Insider, which says Jassy made that assertion throughout a gathering earlier this month.

That clearly hasn’t modified Amazon’s place on the matter. In a recording of the assembly obtained by Insider, Jassy advised staff, “It’s previous the time to disagree and commit,” including that “if you happen to can’t disagree and commit… it’s most likely not going to work out for you at Amazon as a result of we’re going again to the workplace not less than three days per week.”

Jassy reportedly stated his resolution to have staff return to the workplace was a “judgment name” and that staff can go away in the event that they don’t need to comply. “It’s not proper for all of our teammates to be in three days per week and for folks to refuse to take action,” Jassy acknowledged. The Verge reached out to Amazon with a request for remark however didn’t instantly hear again.
