Through December 21 Portland-based husband-and-wife duo APAK (Aaron Piland and Ayumi Kajikawa) will enhance the walls of Junc Gallery with their enchanting and uplifting illustrations. In the tradition of the best folktales, Apak, Betsy Walton and Aya Kakeda have developed the ability to manifest familiar experiences and truths in an updated adaptation that applies elements of pop culture, illustration, Asian and European folktales, combined with personal flourishes.
