Successful-and-run boat crash is beneath investigation on Lake Winnipesaukee.

In line with State Police, on Saturday, August 12 round 11 p.m., officers acquired a name for a boating crash on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 50-foot SeaRay boat that had ended up on rocks in Winter Harbor, after it had crashed right into a docked boat.

Preliminary investigation confirmed that the operator of the SeaRay, left the scene previous to officers arriving.

The operator, a male, was taken from the scene by one other boat, together with a number of different passengers.

The blue SeaRay is a NH boat, registered out of the city of Windham. The boat seen taking the operator and the passengers from the scene, was a 1997 Nicely Craft, coloration blue, registered out of Pelham. This vessel was witnessed leaving the scene and headed towards Tuftonboro. The Nicely Craft was positioned, docked at a residence in Tuftonboro this morning.

The docked boat was unoccupied on the time of the crash and there have been no reported accidents.
