Well, it finally happened.

With the Steelers’ offense struggling again, starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky was out. Rookie Kenny Pickett was also there.

Before going out, Trubisky completed 7 of 13 passes for 84 yards and an interception.

Ten days ago, coach Mike Tomlin said he wasn’t considering changing quarterbacks. Clearly, the situation has changed. It’s official time for Kenny Pickett in Pittsburgh.

In his first drive, Pickett shoved the first ball to the ground in the fourth and Pittsburgh 32. The Jets led 10-6. stay tuned.

Update 3:00pm ET: The drive ends with Pickett’s long interception. The ball is for catcher Chase Claypool.
