(COLORADO) — The Colorado Division of Gaming launched the December 2022 sports activities betting numbers on Jan. 31. The numbers present a rise of over 100% from the fiscal 12 months 2021.
Sports activities betting taxes collected by the state in December 2022 totaled $2,583,711 which the Colorado Division of Gaming mentioned was an 0.08% improve from November 2022. In comparison with December 2021 it was a rise of 235.3%.
The Division of Gaming mentioned the fiscal 12 months taxes so far for December are $13,399,746 which it mentioned was a 115.9% improve from the fiscal 12 months 2021.
December confirmed Basketball as the highest spot for betting with $147,854,335 in whole wagers adopted by Soccer with $137,038,414 in bets.
Playing taxes and sports activities betting taxes are completely different and help completely different packages. 78% of playing taxes go in direction of monetary help and classroom instruction at Colorado neighborhood, junior and district schools, the opposite 22% goes towards the cities and counties with playing institutions to handle the impacts of gaming.
